core areas

Cognitive Development:
Children explore, ask questions, and problem-solve through hands-on learning. Activities include building, sorting, counting, experimenting, and storytelling that encourage critical thinking and creativity.

Language & Literacy:
Through songs, stories, conversations, and early writing experiences, children develop strong communication and comprehension skills. We focus on vocabulary growth, listening, and early literacy concepts.

Physical Development:
Daily indoor and outdoor play promotes fine and gross motor skills, balance, and coordination. Children build strength and confidence while having fun with movement, art, and sensory exploration.

Social & Emotional Growth:
We help children understand their feelings, build empathy, and develop positive relationships. Our teachers model kindness, patience, and problem-solving, creating a community where every child feels seen and heard.

Creative Expression:
Art, music, dramatic play, and imagination are woven throughout each day. We encourage children to express themselves freely and discover the joy of creativity.

Science & Nature Exploration:
Children learn about the world through observation, discovery, and hands-on experiments. We nurture curiosity about nature, weather, animals, and how things work.

Our Curriculum

Learn as we Play…Play as we Learn

At Peabody Child Care Center, our curriculum is built on the belief that children learn best through play, exploration, and hands-on experiences. Every activity, routine, and interaction is thoughtfully planned to support the whole child—socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively.

We follow a play-based, developmentally appropriate approach, aligned with the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) learning standards. Our goal is to help every child build a strong foundation for lifelong learning while feeling valued, confident, and curious.

family

partnership

We believe that families are children’s first teachers. Our teachers maintain open communication through daily updates, developmental progress notes, and family events. Together, we create a supportive partnership to help every child succeed.

At Peabody Child Care Center, every moment is an opportunity to learn, grow, and play.
